Stag Hill is Lost. So, onto The Bear Den Trail
The situation at Stag Hill isn’t over yet. Our land use chairman is looking into finding out who the owners are and seeing if they would be willing to allow us to use the area if say we did clean ups, etc. Though I wouldn’t hold my breath if I were you. This means that we have lost 2 trails in the past 2 months. That is not a good sign. Along with losing Lamentation Mt. last year that means 4 trails in a year.
Avoiding the Water Traps at Junkyard Trail
The best photo op was Frank in the Defender 90. There is a rock at the beginning that if you hit it just right will cause the drivers side front to raise in the air. Now it was quite dark, and tho I kept hinting in ways so obvious even the thickest of you two-leggeds would understand
The Waterfall Trail: From the Back Seat
As for the trail? Well, I spent a lot of time with either my butt-end jammed against the equipment boxes or my nose against the back of Big Guy's seat. There were a couple of pretty steep hills in there. I know Big Guy was very pleased with the new additions to his Cherokee (4.56 gears, locked rear diff; another victim of the dreaded disease of modificititis) and our ride was a lot easier with the newly buffed up Cherokee.
